I Just Launched My Website!

Ok, I haven’t updated this in a while, but now I have something to post about so here it goes.

I finally bought a domain name and hosting. So, now I have a nice home base for my internet life. You can now find me at, where else, KeithHobin.com.

Take a look around the site, it has a buch cool stuff like my Resume and a Social feed of my web life via Friend Feed. The about page is still under construction, but it should be up soon.

Just to specify, this site is not my personal blog. I don’t really have time to blog, in case you haven’t noticed that I never update my posterous. So, for now, I’m sticking with my Twitter for my day to day life, and Posterous for anytime I need to post something longer than 140 characters, like this.

So that’s basicly what I have to say for now, take a look at my site. If you have any sugestions, just leave a coment her or @reply me on Twitter (kjhobin)

And, If you don’t already, read theiLife.com, where I write in long form on a regular basis.

I'm Tired...

I decided that I'm going to use my posterous as a blog, as well as to just post random crap; so that I don't have to feel guilty about not updating a blog. I know that if I have a formal blog, i will almost never update it. Twitter works just fine for me thank you... 140 characters is just enough so i can have a lot of short quick posts and not have to worry about having long reflective entries.
Don't expect me to do this often, I barely have enough time to write for theiLife.com, and I'm mainly doing that so i have something good on my resume, but i do enjoy it.

Anyway, to the true reason I decided to write:

Ugg... I just can't stand being a college student anymore. It's not that I don't like the classes, or Drexel its self, its that I'm tired of the issues that come along with being a student, mainly the always being short on money problem.

I know that I should get a job, but its really hard right now with my schedule as there is no good time for me to work. The fact that the economy sucks makes this even harder. I would love one of the jobs around campus, like one at the libraries circulation desk where you can do school work and listen to music in between helping patrons, but I do not have work study on my financial aid, so if I wanted to get a job, I would have to go off campus and most likely in to the "wonderful world of retail" where your scheduled to death and the employers are usually inflexible.

Finals start tomorrow, and that is in no way helping with the tired feeling. I'm kind of worried about my Math 101 exam, its never been my best subject. At least this is the home stretch and after wards, I get to go back home to Montclair, which should be nice; at least for a little while. I do get to see Julie though :-) so it will be fun.

Until next time, keep up with my day to day life on Twitter (@kjhobin) and check to theiLife.com every Friday for my "The Roundup" series, and other posts. I should be writing a lot during the holiday break!
